Book Review

by Jennifer Rardin

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Urban Fantasy

RT Rating

The sixth book in the rip-roaring Jaz Parks series moves the globe-trotting action to Australia. With each new book Rardin not only builds on the fascinating characters of Jaz and her vampire lover, Vayl, but also on their offbeat, highly talented crew. The gadgets alone are worth the read. The ick factor in this story is high, and the danger intense. Über-talented Rardin is on a major roll!

Unfortunately for Jaz, her last encounter with Domytr King Brude left him tagging along -- inside her mind. Brude's interference is causing problems with Jaz's concentration and
ability to function. This could be a major problem as the team heads to the Canberra Deep Space Complex to stop a group of fanatical gnomes from sabotaging NASA's three eyes to the cosmos. Jaz, Vayl and crew must stop the gnomes -- and figure out how to rid Jaz of her unwelcome visitor. (ORBIT, Dec., 311 pp., $13.99)
