BITTEN TO DEATH
by Jennifer Rardin

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Urban Fantasy

RT Rating

Besides the high-octane action and snappy dialogue, it's the evolving relationships that make this first-person series so gripping, as the fates persist in throwing challenges at Jaz. Rardin continues to build her credentials as a major force in the genre.

Assassins Jaz Parks and her vampire boss Vayl may finally have a shot at eliminating the evil vampire Samos. Upon arrival at the Trust, they discover that the leader has been replaced with Vayl's nemesis, the only vampire he has made, Disa. It quickly becomes clear that Disa is not going to let Vayl get away a second time, and in order to complete their mission, they may have little choice but to comply. Disa is no normal vampire and her alien abilities make her a huge threat. But Jaz is not about to lose Vayl just as their relationship seems to be growing closer. Jaz will do whatever it takes to
free Vayl and defeat Samos. (ORBIT, Aug.,
