Book Review

BLACK CITY
by Christina Henry

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Urban Fantasy

RT Rating

Henry delivers once again with the fifth entry in her Black Wings series. The heroine, Maddy, elicits such strong emotion and is sure to resonate with readers. Action packed, complex and filled with believable characters, Maddy’s story is loaded with twists and turns. This is definitely a series that should be read in order, as the characters grow and progress through each book.

Even after his death, the consequences of Azazel’s experiment infest Chicago. Vampires who possess immunity to daylight have massacred the city, turning it into a bloody mess. The Agency refuses to step in and stop the bloodbath, which would require interfering with other supernatural courts. It’s up to Maddy, wings or no wings, to put an end to it. Once and for all.
