Dominic Cordasic is still recovering from the botched hostage negotiation that cost him his job. He's now trying to make a go of it as a private investigator. Out of the blue, seven years after she left him, Rachel Everhart Adair calls. Her husband, a rich Las Vegas businessman, has been murdered, and she's the prime suspect. Rachel wants Dominic to find the real killer. Dominic is determined not only to clear her but also to find out why she's holding him at arm's length when the attraction is still there. Black Sheep P.I. (4.5) is a poignant and emotional story about being reunited with a lost love. The Cordasic Legacy gets off to a terrific start, and Karen Whiddon has created intriguing supporting characters that deserve their own stories.
