Genre: Historical Romance

Set in the time of King Richard, BLACKHEART is an absorbing tale of danger and secrets. Engaging from the start, Tamara Leigh draws you into the story.

Lady Juliana Kinthorpes husband, Bernart, injured in the Crusades, blames former friend Gabriel DeVere. Bernart is playing a dangerous game with Gabriel in hopes of exacting revenge.

Denied his fathers estate, Gabriel is a knight who makes his way fighting in tournaments. Encountering Juliana at the Kinthorpes home, Gabriel remembers when she was a young girl training in the arts of love. Later, he wonders why Juliana would risk coming to him under darkness of night?

Juliana faces hard choices in love and in the process, she learns something new about herself.

Tamara Leigh expertly plays characters off each other to keep readers curious about what theyll do next. The very real struggles they must endure make the book all the more believable. I look forward to future books by this enthralling writer. SENSUAL (Apr., 400 pp., $5.99.)
