Linden has penned another winner in her Durham Dilemma trilogy. Book two is a titillating read with action, danger and passion. A marriage of convenience has never been more delicious.

Gerard de Lacey is on the hunt for a blackmailer who threatens to destroy his family — and for a rich wife, just in case. The widowed Lady Katherine Howe is in need of a new husband to protect her from a fortune hunter, so she proposes to Gerard despite the rumors of scandal shadowing his family. Gerard is tempted by her fortune but more intrigued by the delicious challenge of her frosty demeanor, and so he agrees. Gerard never imagined his wife would prove such a passionate woman and a cool-headed partner in his investigation. Together they conquer their fears, their enemies and their passions.
