BLAZE OF GLORY
by Catherine Mann

Genre: Romantic Suspense, General Romantic Suspense

RT Rating

Straightlaced lieutenant and police profiler Dr. Grace Marie Lanier is paired with maverick Air Force captain Bobby "Postal" Ruznick on an urgent assignment, and this isn't the first time that these two opposites have been linked. But even though Grace Marie asked specifically for Bobby and his special-ops crew, she tells herself that being with her ex-boyfriend again is simply
a necessary evil.

Bobby's feelings on the subject are equally ambivalent. When they reunite in the hot Asian jungle, their mission turns out to be even dicier than they expected. Worse yet, it involves the rescue of Grace Marie's brilliant but mentally unstable father.

Mann's skillful writing propels readers through the narrative and deep into these complex and vulnerable protagonists' perspectives. This talented author crafts a story of smart dialogue and expertly blended romantic suspense. The plot is well structured, fast-paced and intricate. (Jul., 384 pp., $5.99)
