by Steven Gould

Genre: Science Fiction, General Science Fiction

RT Rating

Established author Steven Gould combines danger, love and Shakespeare in BLIND WAVES (4). Set off the coast of Texas, the ice caps have melted causing a 100-foot rise in sea level. Patricia Beenan is rich, owns viable real estate and sponsors displaced refugees for jobs. Running an underwater salvage business she discovers a recently sunken freighter with dead bodies locked up in its hold. Broadcasting the news, she has to hide out from one branch of the government while helping another branch investigate the tragedy. An exhilarating read with witty dialogue, lovable characters and non-stop action. Mr. Gould delivers a powerful story and provides enough plot twists to entice readers to finish his book in one sitting. Paperback release. (Mar.)
