A gutsy heroine gives her alpha hero all he can handle in this well-crafted vampire tale with a twist. The scorching love scenes are offset by exciting and action-packed battles to the death. Detective Victoria Tyler is a good cop. She’s after a vampire serial killer, and she needs the help of Michael, a vampire enforcer. Unfortunately, their last contact was when she tried to kill him. Now she knows she must put her neck on the line, literally, to make the connection work. Michael sees that his boss is on the decline and the time is ripe for him to make a power move. With Tori on his side, he can take over. Their joining is amazing and Michael takes her neck as they have sex. Then Michael undertakes the dangerous mission of eliminating the evil Castillo.
