In book three of Bast's Embraced series, Tiya of the OtherKin Sidhe is a real-life fairy. The Embraced Vampir don't know of most of the OtherKin species, and they don't have any problems with them. But Tiya definitely has a Vampir grudge--and she sets out to kill one of them. She ends up injuring the one she tracks down, Vincent, and also Charlie.

Charlie is pissed and more than curious. This woman--certainly not human--almost killed him, and he doesn't know if Vincent will survive. He wants answers and is going to get them.

All of the books in this series are excellent stories, but the introduction of the fae in Blood of an Angel give it an excellent edge. Another compelling feature is the loyalty that is there for Charlie when he needs it. Although there is a bit of female/female interaction, it enhances the passion that flares between Charlie and Tiya. (dl $5.95)
