Book Review

BLOOD ROSE
by Sharon Page

Genre: Erotic Romance, Paranormal

RT Rating

This plot is full of action and includes a most interesting twist on the way to happily ever after. The sex scenes are frequent, varied and nicely integrated into the story, but it's the characters who earn Page's latest vampire book four stars. The female protagonist is completely believable, and the two vampire-slaying heroes in her life are simply hot! This is a thoroughly entertaining read.

Serena Lark is the only living child of a vampire and a mortal, and if Jonathon Sommersby can't find a way to cure her, she will become a vampire on All Hallow's Eve -- her 25th birthday. Evil vampire lord Lukos knows this and wants Serena for himself to fulfill the prophecy of history's most powerful vampire queen, who will rule at his side. Can Jonathon and his vampire-slaying partner, Drake Swift, keep Serena safe from Lord Lukos? And will they ever learn to share the woman they both love? (Aphrodisia, Aug., 304 pp., $12.95)
