BLOOD SIN
by Marie Treanor

Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

The second installment of Treanor’s Awakened in Blood series finds Saloman and his ancient sword the focus of a blood battle between vampires and humans. Less difficult to get into than the first in the series, this gothic romance is worth staying with as the story has much more foundation. The pacing is a bit slow, but the action and passion bring the characters the excitement you’ve been waiting for.

While grappling with the passion she feels for a vampire, Elisabeth Silk is also coming to terms with her status as a vampire hunter. Saloman is the focus of her thoughts and heart. He is the antithesis of an anti-hero, and he possesses the sword all vampires and humans wish to have. As Elisabeth is dealing with her own changing enemies and allies, she must decide her own fate while she still can. (NAL, Apr., 336 pp., $14.00)
