This beautiful blend of romance and mystery is impossible to put down. Bounty hunter Luce Montgomery captures the man she's after when she comes to New Mexico. But he turns
out to be the chief of police, Philip O'Donnaugh. Finding out they are both looking for the same man, Luce reluctantly decides to work with Philip, even though she thinks he's too attractive to
be around because one of them will end up getting hurt. Set in the Apache reservation, this adventure becomes a real mystery when the question of Luce's birth parents is woven into the story. Well written, fast-paced and with likeable characters, the sensual Blue Jeans and a Badge (4.5) by Nina Bruhns is a treat.
