BOARDROOM BRIDE AND GROOM
by Shirley Jump

Genre: Series, Harlequin Romance, Current Series Imprints

RT Rating

Assistant prosecutor Carolyn Duff is a workaholic with no personal life -- but she can't resist helping out a charity by sponsoring a kid in need. Surprisingly, it brings Carolyn face to face with her ex-husband, corporate attorney Nick Gilbert, who's also involved with the event. Soon they're forced to deal with their still-potent attraction, but Carolyn's haunted by her past, and good-time guy Nick lacks the tools to help her come to terms with it. Or does he? Shirley Jump's Boardroom Bride and Groom (4.5) is well plotted, and all of the characters are beautifully realized. While it's often humorous, keep some tissues handy too.
