Book Review

BOOMERANG
by Noelle August

Genre: Young Adult, New Adult

RT Rating

Boomerang is a novel with substance, fabulously detailed, and August is a fine writer — able to draw a nuanced character. Ethan is a dream, but still realistic, and Mia is every girl’s best friend. Interesting plots, dynamic characters and, of course, scintillating sex make this a new adult title to emulate.

After spending a drunken night together, Mia and Ethan — two strangers — discover they’re both interning at the same internet dating site. The caveat? They must compete for the single paying position available at the company. Both are out to win; however, they can’t shake their undeniable attraction. With an HR lady from hell seemingly out to get Ethan — and destroy any hopes Mia and Ethan have of a relationship after declaring it’s against company policy to date — it’s an uphill battle for the interns.
