Back in her hometown to run a
political campaign, Markie McBride is forced to confront her past when she finds out her high school love, Justin Kilgore, is also back home. In Born Under the Lone Star (4), Darlene Graham's characters have nice depth, which allows readers to sympathize with them easily. While the story of lovers kept apart by their families is not a new one, Graham gives it a new twist with the addition of a subplot involving murder
and stolen artifacts.
