Shannon Moriarty can't believe Burke Bishop wants to hire her to mother his child! But she has to pay for her mom's nursing home care, and the cash is too good to pass up. Burke wants a family without the hassles of having a wife. He doesn't believe in love, so why bother with a marriage? As he and Shannon go through the pregnancy they find themselves wondering if they'll be able to part once the baby arrives. Heidi Betts leaves a few questions unanswered as she spins Bought by a Millionaire (2). Shannon's motivation for agreeing to this scheme isn't quite convincing enough, and it's a bit hard to believe Burke desperately wants a baby when he doesn't believe in love of any kind.
