Cally Sinclair doesn't want to be at a charity beefcake auction and is mortified when she learns that her friend Mel "won" hunky Blake McKay for her. The two are surprised at their mutual attraction -- Cally is scared by it, and Blake wants to act on it. So they make a bet: If she wins, he'll donate to her charity, but if he wins, he
gets a weekend alone with her. Natalie Anderson's Bought: One Night, One Marriage (3) starts out fun, but quickly turns serious. But the protagonists carry such heavy baggage that their relationship keeps bending until it almost breaks. If only they would talk to each other!
