Book Review

by Joey W. Hill

Genre: Erotic Romance, Paranormal

RT Rating

In this final installment, Hill does what she does best, combining an alpha male and an equally dominant woman in a world not their own. The love and humor is constant throughout the story and neither partner is diminished by the other’s individual, strong personality. They perfectly complement each other as the changes in their reality take them in new directions.

As Jacob and his lady explore Lyssa’s fae connection, their bond continues to grow stronger. The uneasy combination of the vampire and fairy worlds comes full circle with the birth of their son. With the conversion of Jacob to vampire and Lyssa’s loss of those same abilities, she is also exploring the world of her father, where there is court intrigue in the form of her half-sister. The dangers begin to come from many directions. Jacob, meanwhile, is solely focused on keeping her safe as they attempt to reunite with their son. (HEAT, Dec., 450 pp., $16.00)
