Ever since she was 8 years old, Tasha Moran has been best friends with her next-door neighbor, wheelchair-bound cutie, Jason Fox. Jason remains at her side faithfully as Tasha tries to learn from her mistakes through her adolescent and teen years with her ever-changing phases and loser boyfriends. They grow older and eventually drift apart, but as fate may have it, they cross paths once again and their bond becomes even stronger than before. Jason the green-eyed geek, now a successful investment banker, introduces Tasha to a friend, thinking maybe it’s time for her to be with someone who will stick around longer than just one night. Now, she’s thinking it’s easier to just settle, instead of settling down with the only man she’s ever loved — and who’s been right under her nose her entire life. (DEV LOVE, Dec., 304 pp., $12.99)
