Grace is a likable character who immediately engages the reader. Her close-knit family and her reading-group friends make interesting secondary characters. Her adventures as a single woman looking for Mr. Right are entertaining, but at times the humor becomes too exaggerated. The pace is a bit slow, but the story is a fun read.

After a truly horrible date, Grace O’Bryan decides to make her Daytona Beach book club more exciting by turning the group into a Boyfriend of the Month Club. She and her girlfriends give up critiquing books for examining the strengths and flaws of the men they have recently dated. Much to her ex-boyfriend’s chagrin, Grace is soon dating a couple of the area’s most eligible bachelors. But will anyone live up to her and her friends’ hopes for Mr. Darcy-perfect mates?
