RT Rating

October starts off with the second installment of the Ramirez Brides trilogy. When his birth father dies, Anton Luis Scott–Lee discovers that he has two half-brothers. The only way he can meet them is to fulfill a condition of his late father's will--marry the woman who rejected him six years earlier. Cristina Marques is in dire financial straits, and she's also been keeping some secrets about why she broke up with Anton and married an older man. She knows he wants revenge, but when he wants a child as part of the deal, she does everything she can to not be The Brazilian's Blackmailed Bride (4). Intensity and tension leap from the pages of Michelle Reid's latest. The premise is very emotional, and the characters are volatile and exciting enough to keep the pages turning till the happily-ever-after.
