The third novel in Heitzmann’s series featuring the Spencer brothers takes the very familiar “marriage of convenience” storyline and ratchets up the suspense and believability. An intriguing mystery and some eerie settings come together to create a fast-paced thriller sure to keep readers breathlessly turning pages.

Quinn Reilly has been hiding from a past that could literally mean the end of her life. Yet when she meets Morgan Spencer, a widower with a young child, she’s immediately drawn to his quiet strength. An unorthodox decision leads to Morgan and Quinn’s marriage in order to keep her identity hidden, but what happens when they both have stronger feelings than they anticipated?
