The completely entertaining Coffeehouse series continues with a strong 11th entry. The Greenwich Village setting is accurately portrayed, and information about coffee is detailed. With well-written, sympathetic characters and a good, complex mystery, this cozy features recipes, including some from Chinatown.

Coffeehouse manager Clare Cosi isn’t one to let her business slide. She decides to take advantage of the coffee truck rage. But the obnoxious owner of the Kupcake Kart doesn’t want the competition and is giving Clare and the Village Blend a hard time. When a friend is the victim of a deliberate hit-and-run, followed by a murder at a food truck-catered wedding, Clare knows it’s more than just a business rivalry. Since her friend Detective Mike Quinn is in D.C., Clare works with a new detective and her ex-husband and business partner to solve the mystery. (PRIME CRIME, Aug., 384 pp., $25.95)
