BRIDE OF DESIRE
When Allie Marchington realizes she must produce an heir, which is impossible, she takes refuge with her aunt in France to decide her future. There she meets Remy de Brizat and it's love at first sight. Allie knows she must tell him about her situation, but she puts it off until it's too late. Two years after their bitter parting, Allie is widowed and back in France. When she meets Remy and he sees her son, Allie has some explaining to do. The course of true love never runs smooth, and so it goes in Sara Craven's Bride of Desire (4.5). When it's good it's so romantic and when it stumbles there's angst and heartbreak. Put it all together and you have a wonderful story.
