A BRIDE FOR THE ISLAND PRINCE (3) by Rebecca Winters: American speech pathologist Dottie Richards is summoned to the home of Prince Alexius of Hellenica to help the widower’s young daughter. Princess Zoe has been chasing off tutors and caregivers since her mother’s death, but Dottie manages to take the child under her wing. Having overcome her own speech problems as a child, Dottie empathizes with Zoe. In the process of her therapy, Dottie wins the heart of Prince Alex as well. This is a cute story, but the opening chapters are slowed by too much background information. The characters are likable, but not entirely compelling.
