Shortly after her husband's accidental death, violinist Ally Parker learns he wasn't alone in the car. Compelled to visit the European crash site, then offer condolences to the dead woman's husband, Ally meets resistance from Gino Di Montefalco. Protective of his sister-in-law's memory because of his brother's failing health, Gino must be convinced of the purity of Ally's motives. Then his attitude softens, and soon Gino is looking for reasons to keep Ally in Italy. But is she ready to love again? Rebecca Winters' The Bride of Montefalco (3) has a dramatic premise and strong characters, but it bogs down thanks to an overly convoluted plot.
