BRIDES OF DURANGO: JENNY
Two years ago, Jenny Sullivan left Cole Randall standing at the altar to pursue her dream of going to school in Philadelphia. She has returned home following her fathers death to discover that Cole is executor of the estate until Jenny either sells the ranch, marries or turns 25.
Cole hopes shell sell him the ranch. However, Jenny is determined to stay. She realizes she still loves him and with her friend Roses help she begins her battle to win back Coles love. Luck is with her when Cole rescues her from an uncomfortable situation. It seems he is always there to help Jenny when she runs into trouble.
Cole kisses Jenny and their passion explodes, their feelings for each other running high, but not as high as the dangers they will face from a jealous woman and a gang of rustlers.
Bobbi Smith has another winner. This third installment is warm and tender as only Ms. Smith can do. As with most of her other stories, there is a secondary love story between Jennys high society friend Rose and the bartender from the High Times Saloon. JENNY stands on its own, but it is nice to see characters from the previous books in the series. Ms. Smiths fans will not be disappointed. SENSUAL (Oct., 395 pp., $5.99)
