On the eve of her best friend's marriage to Ethan Brannon's brother, cake decorator Aislinn Flaherty is determined to be nice to the abrasive small-business consultant. It's difficult, especially after Aislinn gets one of her "feelings" about the third Brannon brother, Kyle, believed long deceased by the family. Aislinn thinks Kyle's alive, but she has a hard time convincing Ethan, who's not just skeptical, he's downright hostile. But Ethan agrees to investigate -- if Aislinn will accompany him -- and what they find surprises them both. Gina Wilkins' The Bridesmaid's Gifts (3) pairs a couple of nicely realized characters who have good chemistry, but the plot overpowers their romance.
