Book Review

THE BRIDGE
by Karen Kingsbury

Genre: Inspirational, Mainstream

RT Rating

Kingsbury’s latest is a short and sweet holiday tale coupled with romance. Although there’s nothing surprising about the plot or the characters, readers will enjoy the setting and camaraderie of a group of people pulling together to help one another.

After a college romance, Molly Allen and Ryan Kelly had plans and dreams that took them on different paths and away from each other. They always remembered their times together at The Bridge, a bookstore in Franklin, Tenn. Now, many years later, a flood has devastated The Bridge and Molly and Ryan return to help out — and possibly to rekindle the still-warm flames of their relationship. (HOWARD, Nov., 256 pp., $19.99)
