Charting new ground is nothing new for the fascinating character of Elena, and this latest novel adds even more luster to Armstrong's already exceptional Women of the Otherworld series. Her ability to make her paranormal world believable is one reason why this author's work is so utterly riveting and keeps readers clamoring for more.

On the surface, it seems like an easy theft job. Plus, the promised prize of information on a rogue killer werewolf will be invaluable. But none of the werewolf Pack are prepared for what they accidentally unleash during the burglary.

Now that female werewolf Elena Michaels is pregnant, her mate Clay, alpha wolf Jeremy and the other pack members have become extremely protective. Still, Elena is actively involved in the theft of what is purported to be the infamous Jack the Ripper "From Hell" letter.

Retrieving the letter is no problem. But soon after, Elena and Clay realize that some kind of portal has opened and that a vicious killer and a nasty pair of zombies have escaped. Since she's the one who inadvertently opened the portal, the very pregnant Elena is being stalked by the zombies. Somehow Elena, Clay and company must find a way to stop the killers and seal up the dangerous portal.
