BUILDING A FAMILY
BUILDING A FAMILY (3) by Lyn Cote: Eleanor Washburn longs to have a daughter. She is drawn to Pete Beck’s daughter while working on a Habitat for Humanity house. Pete is a single father and is overly cautious about his daughter bonding with Eleanor. Both had relationships in the past that leave them resistant to dating. When Eleanor decides to adopt a child, will her unconventional relationship with her mother, and her potential one with Pete, cause a problem? This story is a bit slow to engage the reader, as an abundance of details slows the plot advancement. However, it is an easy read with likable characters.
