BUNCO BABES TELL ALL
The first novel in Geraci's Bunco Babes series really enforces the importance of friendship between women, despite a somewhat fatuous title. Kitty, the heroine, is not the most complex character, but she shows heart and sensitivity.
On the eve of her 35th birthday, Florida native and real estate agent Kitty is playing bunco, a dice game, with her pals when she meets part-time handyman Steve. He comes to fix her toilet and winds up spending the night. Keeping their one-night tryst a secret becomes a battle in a small town where everyone makes their neighbor's business their own.
Kitty's family home, where she currently resides, is falling apart and her mother threatens to sell the place. Kitty's plan to buy the property is at the mercy of her own ability to collect a commission. And of course, with Kitty's luck at present, it looks like nothing is going to go according to plan.
