While not a fan of historical fiction, I am definitely a fan of Sienna Mynx, and that is what led me to "Buttercup". The story of burlesque carnival dancer Buttercup, and bad boy Silvio, is a heart wrenching one, that will stay with you long after the story is over.
Filled with characters that are flawed yet fascinating, and descriptions that allow you to literally see the story take place, you simply cannot be disappointed with this story. If you love romance you will identify with the attraction between Buttercup and Silvio. If you like drama you will enjoy reading how circumstance and hatred tried to keep them apart. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well written and entertaining, yet romantic story.
