The second book in the Inn at Eagle Creek series is filled with romance, family secrets and characters who are searching for fulfillment in their lives with some unexpected results. Fisher is an amazing author. She has written a believable story about those who embrace their flaws.

Bethany Schrock’s love life is a disaster, her beliefs are unraveling and she’s in charge of cleaning out the house of five Amish sisters who haven’t thrown anything away in decades. She also has to contend with the handsome Jimmy Fisher, who insists on pestering her. Bethany finds some fulfillment in a new job running a local soup kitchen, but there is still something gnawing at her. With reassurance from Jimmy, Bethany discovers the truth about her mother’s disappearance from her life. Now Bethany’s future is uncertain and she must look to her faith to heal.
