AT THE CAPTAIN’S COMMAND (4) by Louise M. Gouge: East Florida Colony, 1780: Shy Dinah Templeton lives with her foster sister Anne and Anne’s husband Artemis, who wants her out of his home. Captain Thomas Moberly comes to town as part of a frigate to protect St. Augustine. He meets Dinah and swears he will not fall victim to her innocent charms, as he prefers being out at sea. But their love   is strong. They start planning their wedding as Thomas is ordered out to sea.   A sweet love story set during wartime, when everything is up in the air and people are trying to live their lives as normally as possible. The characters are wonderful and are willing to go to the ends of the earth to make their dreams come true.
