CAPTIVE
Genre: Erotic Romance, Historical Erotic Romance Read an Excerpt | Message from the Author Phillips’ second in the Forbidden series is just as hot as its predecessor. Readers will be held Captive by the magic between Druid priestess Morwyn and Bren. More than the passion between them, however, are the misunderstandings and half- truths that also blossom. Readers will be intrigued as the layers of the story unfold. Morwyn is a proud Druid priestess who has returned to Britain to seek justice. She’s also looking for a man who once loved her but whom she did not love. Helping to plot an invasion from the Britons hiding in the hills against the invading Romans, she travels disguised as a trader and is attacked by Roman soldiers on the way to Cymru. Bren, a Gaul who is also helping the Britons, rescues her. Morwyn believes he is the enemy, working for the Romans against his own people. As they travel across the countryside, Morwyn and Bren’s growing bond is tested when Morwyn receives visions pointing to Bren as the man she seeks for her revenge. She leaves him and travels to the camp where the king awaits and finds Bren there proclaiming his fealty to the king. They must work together to keep their king safe from a bloodbath.
