Genre: Historical Romance, England, Scotland
Sensuality: HOT
Setting: 1829 London and Scotland

The last in the trilogy is trademark Laurens, featuring a fast-paced romance, a spunky heroine and a very male hero who can nevertheless be brought down by one small woman. Cynster fans will cheer as love wins the day.

Youngest Cynster sister Angelica is finally given the talisman that helps the family find their true loves. While wearing it for the first time she meets Viscount Debenham, who promptly kidnaps her, taking her to his home. He begs her to help him save his clan. His mother has stolen a jewel-encrusted goblet in retaliation for his father’s obsession with Angelica’s mother. She will not return the goblet unless her son “ruins” one of Cecelia’s daughters. Angelica agrees to help Debenham, since she realizes that he is her true love. Making love only worsens the situation; they are more distracted than before. As they get closer to locating the goblet, murder and mayhem ensue, bringing danger — and her family — to their door. (AVON, Feb., 448 pp., $7.99)
