The third installment of the Bride of Bloodstone series has great depth, drama and action. As the keeper of the magical Clachan Fala, Mona Graham must find the fabled Bloodstone and bring peace to the clans, but she can't do it alone.

She stumbles upon Patrick Maxwell in her stepson Ridley's dungeon. Patrick is a man haunted by horrific nightmares. To Mona he is both magnetic and dangerous—and willing to join forces to find the sacred stone. But ruthless Ridley will do anything and everything to stop them.

Ms. Holling has crafted a very strong novel that will satisfy readers of the series. However, it does not stand alone; you need to truly understand the complete legend to follow the story, so go back once more and immerse yourself in the Bloodstone's legend. You'll be captivated and completely engaged with the myth, the magic and the romance Ms. Holling has so beautifully created. SENSUAL (Jan., 350 pp., $6.99)
