CARETTI'S FORCED BRIDE
by Jennie Lucas

Genre: Series, Harlequin Presents, Current Series Imprints

RT Rating

Ten years after refusing his marriage proposal, Princess Isabelle de Luceran is back in Paolo Caretti's life. Paolo can't forget that Isabelle rejected him because of his less-than-royal background. Now he's one of the world's richest men -- as well as one of the most eligible bachelors. When Isabelle begs him to find her kidnapped nephew, the heir apparent to the throne, Paolo finally has a chance for revenge. He wants Isabelle to be his mistress, even though she's about to accept a marriage proposal from a prince. Jennie Lucas does a nice job of focusing on the present relationship while threading in pieces of the past to give the full scope of the romance between this electric pair in Caretti's Forced Bride (3). Too bad the heroine doesn't gain a bit more of a backbone sooner in the story.
