Returning to England with an orphaned infant in his care, foreign correspondent Harry Kavenagh doesn't know how he'll cope. Then he discovers that an old girlfriend, Emily Hamilton, is living next door to his grandmother's old house. A single mom of two young children and a landscape designer, Emily's hands are already full, but she can't resist helping Harry. In the midst of chaos, love blossoms again, but Harry's not ready to give up his wandering ways. Or is he? Caroline Anderson's Caring for His Baby (3) has some strong characters going for it, but the romance is completely overshadowed by the plot.
