A trip back to Dare Island is always something to look forward to. The third in the series is a truly gratifying combination of heartwarming and sizzling sexual tension. Family once again plays a huge role in the story as we revisit the Fletchers. Luke and Kate are a couple with intense passion who will definitely capture your heart.

Luke Fletcher is a man born to serve his country, but when he discovers he is the father of a 10-year-old daughter and her mother has passed away, his sense of duty changes. While Luke grows happier in his new role as a father, he doesn’t expect to fall for a woman like the town lawyer, Kate Dolan. Kate has a reputation for being uptight and reserved and, as a former military brat, she knows Marines seldom make good fathers. Can Luke prove to Kate and his daughter that there’s more than one way to be a hero? (BERKLEY SENSATION, Mar., 304 pp., $7.99)
