CARRERA'S BRIDE
by Diana Palmer

Genre: Series

RT Rating

When her blind date turns ugly, seamstress Delia Mason is grateful for casino owner Marcus Carrera's intervention. Without revealing his identity, Marcus sees to Delia's comfort and takes her to her hotel. To everyone else, Marcus is a shady character with mob ties, but as they grow closer, Delia refuses to believe his rep. After an attempt is made on his life, however, she has to consider the possibility that she doesn't know Marcus at all. Diana Palmer's new Long Tall Texans title, Carrera's Bride (2), has sizzle
and energy, but certain aspects of the
plot (e.g., the violence during the near rape) may strike some as gratuitous.
