Book Review

by Maegan Beaumont

Genre: Mystery/Suspense/Thriller, Mystery, Amateur Sleuth

RT Rating

Carved in Darkness is a roller coaster of emotions, with a scary villain and realistic characters. Beaumont draws you into her world and does not let you go until the very last page. This book has scenes that are very graphic and descriptive and can be hard to read.

Melissa Walker was kidnapped, raped and tortured. She was left for dead. Only two people know that she moved away and assumed a new identity, Sabrina Vaughn. In this new life, Sabrina is a homicide inspector and SWAT team member and every skill she has learned will become necessary when a face from the past opens doors that she had hoped would be closed forever.
