THE CAT, THE MILL AND THE MURDER
by Leann Sweeney

Genre: Mystery/Suspense/Thriller, Mystery, Amateur Sleuth

RT Rating

Sweeney delivers a great mystery with the fifth Cats in Trouble story. The plot is strong, with an added element of a “ghost cat.” Thoroughly entertaining!

Cat lover and quilter Jillian Hart has agreed to help rescue feral cats from an abandoned textile mill. While out surveying the mill, Jillian discovers a woman living there. The squatter, Jeannie, disappeared from the area years ago, after her daughter disappeared. When bones are discovered, the police wonder if it is the daughter. Can Jillian solve this mystery before more bodies start piling up? (OBSIDIAN, May, 304 pp., $7.99)
