The characters are well rounded, not flat, and the storyline is believable and will give readers some warm fuzzies by the end. The talented Dooley knows what readers expect from her and does not disappoint in this latest book.
Catherine McKenna cannot wait for her 18th birthday party. All her friends and family will be there to celebrate with her. When she hears her father and aunt talking, her world is turned on its side. She learns she has two sisters — that she is a triplet. She has to find her sisters and bring them to their father. She can’t do this alone, so her father agrees to let Colin tag along with her. Catherine wants this more than anything else, but also knows her sisters may not want anything to do with their father, or her. Will she be able to reunite her family, or will her only birthday wish be denied? (REALMS, Feb., 304 pp., $14.99)
