Genre: Contemporary Romance, Multicultural

RT Rating

Monica Jones husbandand the love of her lifewas killed in an automobile accident, leaving her a widow and mother of three children. Her brothers and extended family lend helping hands but Monica is determined to rear her children alone. Potential male companions need not apply.

Devin Prescott, her new next-door neighbor, blares his music in the middle of the night and leaves his trash cans in her driveway. He is also the college buddy of her brother-in-law. Despite the undeniable sparks between them, Monica is reluctant to let go of her love for her dead husband.

The various plots within this story blend wonderfully and does not interrupt the developing relationship between Devin and Monica. This readers favorite character was Mr. Reaux, Monicas elderly neighbor, seen only through the bars of his security door, but who never fails to dispense needed, albeit unwanted, advice. A real feel good story! (Now available, 268 pp., $8.99)
