Dane kicks off a new series, Delicious, centered around a group of Seattle-area friends and featuring mild BDSM. This intro, with tender and potent love scenes, will draw readers to this affable, fun collection of characters.

In Banks’ “Exiled,” Xander and his bodyguards are waiting for word to return to their homeland after a coup. In the interim, Xander brings Talia to the island. She has been his obsession since he first saw her. His intent is to seduce her. Sharing her with his friends is just another part of the equation. None of them count on falling in love. In “Sway,” by Dane, artist Daisy Huerta captures Levi’s attention from the first moment he sees her. She is almost half his age, but their connection is so fierce that it never becomes a problem. However, Levi’s inability to trust is a source of tension. Can they conquer their issues and find a happy ending? (HEAT, Aug., 360 pp, $15.00)
