CHILD'S PLAY (4) by Cindi Myers: Diana Shelton's marriage fell apart after she learned she was pregnant and her husband declared he didn't want any more children. She focuses on her work as a playground designer, and when school superintendent Jason Benton hires her to design a playground for his school, the two find themselves attracted, in spite of Diana's pregnancy. But Jason is dealing with the breakup of his marriage, and Diana's life is complicated by the reappearance of her ex-husband. Diana's situation with her ex and stepchildren, and Jason's with his remarried wife and daughter, are similar to the obstacles we face in forming new relationships and dealing with the fallout of old ones. Myers' characters are very realistic in their insecurities.
