Famed rodeo rider and single father Colter Kincaid has long believed that onetime love Marisa Preston wronged him. But Marisa has a secret heartache that Colter knows nothing about, and when they run into each other again at her family's Dallas department store, she's determined to tell him the truth—even if he refuses to listen. Linda Warren does a fine job, and readers should appreciate the charming sentiment of The Christmas Cradle (4). Apart from his obvious sex appeal, her hero, in particular, seems grounded in reality.
